Love Potion - created during a pink/red phase of this year when I felt full of love and gratitude for my family. My daughter saying "I love you" for the first time, and moving to a city that made me feel more like myself then I have since the pandemic.
My works on paper is where I am most creative and test out new strategies. Works on paper allow a unique glimpse in my creative process, the formation of marks, recognizable style of my art. Ideas always start out on paper, maybe wildly different from what finally appears on canvas but always an essential part of the journey.
